What is Stockless?
Stockless translates market data into plain-English explanations with AI personalities and snark. It tracks your portfolio, delivers daily briefings, and provides market commentary through fun AI personalities.
Is Stockless a brokerage or financial advisor?
No. Stockless is not a brokerage, financial advisor, or trading platform. All commentary, analysis, and AI-generated content is for informational and entertainment purposes only. Always do your own research and consult a qualified financial advisor before making investment decisions.
How do I link my brokerage account?
Go to Settings and tap “Link Brokerage Account.” We use SnapTrade for secure, read-only access to your holdings. We never store your brokerage credentials and cannot execute trades or transfer funds.
What is Paper Trading?
Paper Trading is a practice mode with $10,000 in virtual cash. It lets you simulate trades without risking real money. Toggle it on in Settings.
What's the difference between Free and Premium?
Free includes portfolio tracking, daily briefings, market signals, and basic analysis, plus 2 AI deep dives per month and 3 personalities. Premium raises deep dives to 30 per month and unlocks the full deep-dive analysis, insider and institutional feeds, all 12 personalities, and premium themes and readability levels.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed through Apple. Go to your iPhone Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions > Stockless to cancel. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
How do I delete my account?
In the app, go to Settings › Account › Delete Account — deletion starts immediately and removes your data from our systems. If you've already deleted the app or can't sign in, contact us at privacy@stockless.app with the subject “Account Deletion” and we'll remove all your data within 30 days.
Where does the market data come from?
Market data — quotes, price charts, company profiles, market status, top gainers and losers, past earnings results, and stock splits — comes from Twelve Data. News comes from StockNewsAPI. SEC EDGAR supplies fundamentals, insider filings, institutional holdings, and the filings we use to estimate upcoming earnings dates, and FRED supplies rates and macro indicators. In the app, the movers list, price charts, and your holdings credit the provider that actually served that data; the full list of sources lives in Settings › About & Legal. AI commentary is generated by Anthropic's Claude models and, for cost efficiency, mid-tier models routed via OpenRouter, with Google's Gemini as a fallback. Where supported, we apply provider privacy controls to reduce data retention. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
